Byron and Joyce Sutter hosted me and my family on the first night of our big road trip. These are the hosts that dreams are made of! My 24 year old German wagon dropped oil on their pristine driveway yet they served us dinner and breakfast and even placed mint chocolates on our pillows. Regardless of your plans on a trip — always make time for people for you will always be rewarded. Thank you Byron and Joyce for stories that I will be telling until I change careers and start pushing up daisies.
This summer Plymouth Church in Minneapolis asked me to shoot their sanctuary while work was being done to install sprinklers to bring space up to current fire codes versus 1910 fire codes. A “dance floor” was created to allow work in the rafters. Here is a mix 35mm, medium format and gasp! digital.
